I have been really into C.S. Lewis the last couple of months. Whether you consider yourself religious or not, I would recommend his books. I am going to list some of my favorite books by him. I personally love reading physical copies of books. I love finding the most unique and beautiful covers. In my review I will include where you can find some of the physical copies that I currently own and am collecting for my library.

Why The Chronicles of Narnia Is One of My Favorite C.S. Lewis Series
Out of all the works by C.S. Lewis, The Chronicles of Narnia series holds a special place in my heart. It’s more than just a fantasy tale—it’s a beautifully woven story full of adventure, powerful symbolism, and spiritual depth.
The series follows the journeys of various children who find themselves transported to the magical land of Narnia. Each book is accessible and engaging, making it especially great for elementary-aged readers. But what truly sets this series apart is the rich religious symbolism embedded throughout the narrative- making it a powerful read for all readers.
One of the most striking parallels is found in the character of Aslan, the majestic lion who represents Jesus Christ. His sacrifices, wisdom, and involvement in the lives of the children reflect key elements of a greater Plan of Salvation. Through Aslan’s story, C.S. Lewis invites readers—young and old—to consider how Christ is present in our lives, guiding and redeeming us just as Aslan does in Narnia.
If you're someone who enjoys epic adventures with a deeper message, or if you’re drawn to stories with religious symbolism and eternal truths, then this series is absolutely for you.

Mere Christianity: Top of my reading list
As someone who’s always been curious about the foundations of faith—especially the kind that unites believers across different denominations—Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis has been sitting on my “must-read” list for a while now. Even though I haven’t had the chance to crack it open yet, everything I’ve learned about the book makes me feel like it’s not just another Christian read—it’s a meaningful, thought-provoking exploration of what it truly means to believe in Christ.
This book was originally adapted from a series of BBC radio talks during World War II and has been praised for its timelessness and clarity. Lewis, known for his wit and ability to make deep ideas feel approachable, walks readers through the core truths of Christianity without getting lost in denominational arguments. That approach speaks to me in so many different ways. I’m not looking for theological nitpicking—I’m looking for the heart of what it means to follow the Savior.
One thing that especially draws me in is how Lewis starts with the concept of a universal “Moral Law”—something we all instinctively sense—and uses it as a steppingstone to talk about God the Father, the divinity of Jesus Christ (the Son of God), and the life-changing nature of faith. That kind of logical, layered explanation feels like a breath of fresh air in a world full of spiritual noise.
From what I’ve read, Mere Christianity is ideal for:
-
People questioning or exploring their faith
-
Christians who want to deepen their understanding
-
Anyone who enjoys thoughtful, philosophical discussion with spiritual depth
Even though I haven’t read it yet, I’m drawn to the way Lewis presents Christianity not as a list of rules or doctrines but as a living, transformative truth that can speak to anyone—no matter where they’re coming from.
So here I am, finally, ready to open the book that has encouraged generations of believers and seekers alike. If you’ve read it, I’d love to hear what stood out to you—or if you haven’t, maybe we can read it together!
